 Water is the single biggest cause of premature concrete deterioration. It penetrates cracks and pores, corrodes reinforcing steel, and quietly breaks down your structure from the inside out. Traditional surface sealers and coatings offer temporary relief — but they sit on top of the concrete, wear away with traffic and weather, and need reapplying every few years. When new cracks form, their protection is gone.

We take a different approach.

TechCrete 2500 is a bio-based modified silicate solution that works by penetrating deep into the concrete and forming a waterproofing gel within the pores, cracks, and capillaries — protecting the structure from the inside out. 

This gel bonds with the free calcium already present in the concrete to create a barrier against moisture and environmental contaminants, while also increasing the concrete's resistance to chloride ions. 

What makes it truly different is that the formula works with water — continually reactivating inside the concrete rather than fighting it at the surface. The result is an auto-regenerative subsurface membrane designed to last the life of the structure. 

Unlike most waterproofing products that need reapplication every five to ten years, TechCrete 2500 requires just a single application.  TechCrete 2500 seals existing non-structural cracks up to 2mm wide and continues to self-repair future cracks as they form.  Resists surface wear and tear, and tolerates a wide range of thermal stresses. Completely clear and colorless. Is non-toxic, 100% trafficable, VOC-free, biodegradable and approved for use in contact with drinking water.  Can qualify for either a 15-year or 30-year labour and material watertight warranty when applied by an Alchemco Certified Contractor.
